Peter Poulos

Peter Poulos is a third generation Greek-American who was born in New York in 1965.  He received his BA from George Washington University in International Relations and Modern Greek History. In 1986 he spent a semester studying international relations and history in Athens and so began his love affair with his adopted city. 

Mr. Poulos has had a 20+ year career as a fundraiser non-profit organizations and political candidates. He has raised millions of dollars for AIDS and breast cancer research, civil rights, homelessness and the environment. 

In 2007 Mr. Poulos moved to Athens with his dog Spyros.  Currently he is working as a consultant for Greek companies looking to expand their business abroad.

Zagori: Villages hidden behind mountains
