Verdi at National Opera

One of Verdi’s most popular operas, Un Ballo di Maschera is back on the stage of the Greek National Opera. Theatre Director Dimitris Mavrikios, a self-confessed lover of musical theatre, is staging this tale of political intrigues, illicit love, scenes of betrayal and execution in one of the most exciting operas from the classical repertoire based on real people and events. From December 17 to January 8, 2012.

Zagori: Villages hidden behind mountains
