Summer Festivals: Music Village at Mount Pelion
The picturesque village of Agios Lavrendios on Mount Pelion hosts annually a cultural event known as the Music Village. This event aims at spontaneous performances of musical ideas and the productive exchange of thoughts and projects among artists of different nationalities.
Music Village features workshops, numerous music performances, walking tours and extra-culinary activities in the scenery of Agios Lavrendios, whose preserved architectural style, cobbled streets and natural beauty in a dense forest of beech, olive, and chestnut trees create the sensation of a place unchanged throughout the centuries. This year, Music Village is taking place in two periods: the first one from August 18 to 24, and the second one from August 26 to September 1.
