10th Bicycle Film Festival
The 10th Bicycle Film Festival is nigh! Bicycle and cine lovers of Athens, put on your helmets and pedal away between December 8 to 11. The bike fiesta will include an art show titled Spoked! at the SIX D.O.G.S. venue , a group night ride with the legendary free riders, a BMX Fun Jam, a Bikes Rock party and even a cycling trip to visit near vineyards and local wine producers - make sure you just taste the wine!
The festival’s screenings, held at Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, will take you from Japan’s fast paced keirin tracks to the mountaintops of Chile and from Ghana’s dirt roads to the hills of San Francisco. The Bicycle Film Festival was launched 10 years ago in New York as a platform to celebrate the bicycle culture through various kinds of art pivoting around films and has since become a true catalyst for a new urban movement.
