Amnesty at 50
Celebrating 50 years of international presence, Amnesty International hosts a human rights poster exhibition titled "Change this world!"
The Greek chapter will host its event on November 24, at the Athens City Hall. Fifty posters from United States to Japan, designed by famous artists such as Picasso, Botero, Miro, and Leibovitz all cry out messages of social solidarity.
Painters, advertisers, photographers and sketchers have also contributed to the posters’ design highlighting the relation between art and activism. The exhibition runs through May 2012, after having toured 33 countries.
