Athens Fashion’s Night Out

Athens goes shopping tonight as the city hosts the Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) event. From Manhattan to Milan and Atlanta to Australia, the global initiative Fashion’s Night Out celebrates its third edition this year.

By extending opening hours on that particular evening, the FNO event brings together boutiques, department stores, designers and artists in an effort to promote retail, restore consumer confidence and celebrate fashion. On September 20, Thessaloniki will also participate in this global initiative for the first time. One of the international campaign’s highlights is the design of 'Fashion’s Night Out' collectors’ T-shirts, with proceeds from sales benefiting several City of Athens charities.

In Greece, the event is organised by Vogue Hellas.

High fashion and jewelry join forces at the Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum in an exhibition which is scheduled to run through December 28.

The Hellenic American Union is hosting until December 20 an exhibition featuring artwork from the Muzeum Kresow collection, which consists of the award-winning works from the Triennale by the Muzeum and retained in its collection.
