3rd Spanish Film Week

The Spanish Embassy in Athens and the Greek Film Archive are co organizing the 3rd Spanish Week Festival -dubbed Crossroads- on November 18 until November 24. Javier Fesser’s film Road is inaugurating the festival.

Award winning Road tells the true story of 14-year-old Alexia Gonzalez-Barros, who demonstrated admirable resilience in the face of a terminal illness, and who is now in the process of being canonised.

The film festival, which will be travelling to Thessaloniki during the first week of December, focuses on Spanish films produced between 2005 and 2010 in an effort to give the Greek audience a glimpse of different genres and directors that form the Spanish film panorama.
