Nisyros is a Greek island that will convey you to the myths, volcanic mountains and a unique wave of good aura and high energy. Nisyros is located in the southern Aegean and is one of the Dodecanese islands. It belongs to the group of ancient Southern Sporades, located west of Rhodes, between Kos, Tilos Astypalea. On the West side and the North side of Nisyros, there are also another four islands called Nisyria. Mandraki is the capital of the island while other beautiful villages include Loutra, Nikia, Paloi, Emporios, Loutra and Paloi.

Although, in 1950 Nisyros counted 2.156 inhabitants, today it only counts almost 948 local people (According to 2001 census). Nisyros is composed of various volcanic mountains, while a large crater is located at the center of the island with a diameter of 4 km. There is also another smaller crater of 700 meters altitude. . The island’s morphology is affected by the volcano and the volcanic soil that is very fertile and conducive to horticulture and lush vegetation too.
