Serifos is a beautiful island in the Aegean sea that belongs to the Cycladic complex. In ancient times, Serifos was known as a barren island. The capital, Chora, is situated at an altitude of 200 meters while Tourlos represents the island’s highest peak at an altitude of 585 meters. Livadi, Megalo Livadi, Koutalas and Kentarhos belong to the island’s fabulous villages. Serifos is popular for its relaxing atmosphere and high quality food. The little Aegean “Pearl” (Serifos) belongs to the popular Greek destinations without being spoiled by mass tourism. In other words, it could be described as a charismatic and popular resort destination by maintaining its virgin and natural beauties unchangeable. Local people are very kind and friendly here. They earn money through agriculture (oils and figs), fishery and by working at open mines (copper, iron).
