Classic lines below the stars

The ancient theatre of Epidavros is one of the most interesting and idyllic Venue spaces to spend your honeymoon moments. Although, it is located in Argolida prefecure and it will take you about a couple of hours to get there (from Athens), the result will be miraculous for both of you. The ancient theater of Epidavros is considered as the finest ancient Greek theater in terms of acoustics and aesthetics too. It is located close to Ligourio village (30 km east of Nafplio) and hosts the Hellenic Greek Theatre Festival annually.

The famous ancient theatre presents Epidavros Festival with local and international productions of ancient Greek drama but also more modern plays and opera music too. If your next destination plan is somewhere in Greece, (July – August), then you should not miss the chance to enjoy a performance at the real jewel of ancient architecture surrounded by beautiful pine and olive trees. A common feeling? During the performance and while the dark falls, stars replace the sun and an intense atmospheric wave overwhelms your soul. This is how someone could describe a romantic and artistic walk at the ancient theatre of Epidavros. Like a painter in front of his art piece.
