Join the Happy Train of Athens

Are you with your family in the city of Athens just for one day and you wish to have a lovely sightseeing? All you have to do is to join the city’s “happy train” and have a memorable journey. Happy train offers a one hour fascinating trip around Plaka, the Presidential Palace and many more Athenian attractions including stops at Monastiraki and Acropolis. Boarding into the happy train is like boarding into a time machine that will transfer you back in time.

A fascinating tour around the city of Athens has already begun passing in front of the city’s most historical sites. We suggest you to take some photos of those beautiful renovated houses and picturesque streets that are located in the area of Plaka. There, you will also pass through various traditional shops that sell local items and products. Don’t miss the chance to admire Athens historical centre through a fantastic experience of two eras and a unique civilization. The happy train is available for the public every 30 minutes from 09:00 AM to 12 AM (everyday) while you can reach it through Ermou st. (pedestrian street) and Monastiraki too. It costs 6 Euros for adults, 4 Euros for children while for children from 0-3 years old the ticket is totally free.
