Lesvos rural festival is a sweet celebration of the fruits of nature that takes place in the island for the last 12 years. It is hold at the Petrified Forest of Lesvos (July) while the traditional sweets are always prepared by the island’s Women Agricultural Association. The candy sweets are closely tied to the island’s tradition and customs and are an integral part of our cultural heritage.
