Evga S.A.

Evga S.A. is a Greek dairy company, headquartered in Athens. The company was established in 1934 and was the first company to produce standardized ice-cream in the Greek market. Nowadays the company engages in the production of ice cream, juices, croissants and frozen pastry products. On 1999 that company merged with Folie Croissants, and was renamed to “European Milk and Flour Industry”. Also In 2001, the Company acquired the Greek ice-cream and dessert manufacturing company IGLOO, which also owns the retail chain with the same name.
     

EVGA exports its products to many countries in Europe and the Balkans. Most notable destinations include Ireland, England, Germany, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Hungary, Russia and USA among many others. Moreover, the company is commissioned to produce products for third-party companies. 

In 1996 EVGA was presented with the Sial D’Or award, at the Sial food and beverage international fair, for its 0%+0% product range.

Zagori: Villages hidden behind mountains

Zagori is an area of great natural beauty and unique architecture in the Pindus Mountains in Epirus in Northwestern Greece. The area is of about 1.000 square kilometers and contains 46 villages. Zagoria villages is called by Greeks “Zagorochoria” meaning the villages behind the mountain.
