MEDITERRA SA ( Mastihashop )


MEDITERRA SA is a Société Anonyme founded in the Summer 2002 under the reorganization plan of the Mastiha Growers Association, targeting to develop a network of mastihashops. The main desire and goal of the Mastiha Growers Association was the development of a number of shops in order to present, enhance and promote the different uses of Chios Mastiha, through a number of products created in Chios, in Greece or abroad.

The company's vision is mastihashops to become the embassies of Chios Mastiha worldwide. With Mastiha as the main reason to become meeting and host points for cultures of the Eastern Mediterranean. Mastihashop  currently develops commercial and industrial activity, retail and wholesale sales, the intensity ratio of which depends on the location reference, geographic or special, consumer habits and of course the degree of knowledge of natural Chios Mastiha and its values. The Company today, along with the development of mastihashops is responsible for:

The production of Chios Mastiha products
The distribution of Chios Mastiha in Greece
The development and distribution of a series of pharmaceutical products in Greek pharmacies (mastihashoptherapy).
The development and distribution of a series of foodstores products (cultura mediterra).

Zagori: Villages hidden behind mountains
