The Papadopoulos family moved from Constantinople to Athens in 1922 and turned their home practice into one of biggets bisquit and bread substitut companies in Greece. The Papadopoulou biscuit company was officially founded in 1940, when the family installed its first small factory in Thessalonikis Street close to the Poulopoulos  Bridge and invested in their first Greek production machines.The first products that were created were contained in parge tin boxes and are renowed until today. They are the Petit Beure Papadopoulos, the Cream Crackers Papadopoulos and the sandwich bisquits Papadopoulos.

In 1955 as the company’s sells continued to increase a new factory started operating on Petrou Ralli Steet in Athens flowed by a second one in Thessaloniki in 1974 and a few years later another two. In Volos in 1984 and Oenophyta in 1990. Today the companies clientele is spread around the world. It is also notable to mention that the company launced it’s most powerful brand in 1978 under the name Caprice. The company also engages in the bread substitute market starting on 1985,and is holding a significant market share.

The company maintains the highest standards with an ISO 9001:200 quality certificate and follows the latest international standards in food safety with an ISO 22000:2005
