A business delegation by the Hellenic Fashion Industry Association (SEPEE) visited Israel on December 6 to 7. The delegation, which included representatives from 20 Greek companies in the apparel and textiles industry, participated at an exhibition of Greek clothing, footwear and textiles and held business meetings, organized by the Commercial Section of the Greek embassy in Tel Aviv.
Greek fashion attracted the interest of the Israeli business community. According to Greek companies, despite the fact that the Israeli market is saturated in the clothing sector and favours exporters who can offer competitive prices, there are possibilities for the expansion of Greek exports in the clothing and footwear sector as the high quality of products on offer, the speedy delivery and renewal of collections constitute an important competitive advantage.
